Semila, Cacao 360, Cacau Chocolate House
During my Design Practicum, my team and I were tasked with developing a brand identity for a Puerto Rican chocolate company and its three distinct sub-brands. Although each brand has its own unique function, they collectively represent the full chocolate-making journey. Semila is the cacao farm where the seeds are cultivated, Cacao 360 handles the processing and transformation of cacao into chocolate products, and Cacau Chocolate House serves those creations in a restaurant setting alongside a selection of café-style fare.

Our client aimed to position themselves as a premium, fine chocolate brand, with packaging and branding that would capture customers' attention. However, their online presence lacked a clear connection between the three sub-brands. A cohesive digital solution was needed to unify all three under one website while preserving their individual identities.
As a team, we conducted research into chocolate industry trends and explored visual styles and color palettes that aligned with the client’s vision. Through this process, we developed a bold graphic identity and crafted elegant logos for both Cacao 360 and Semila that complemented the illustrative design elements. We also prototyped a website that brought all three brands together in a cohesive digital experience.
My primary responsibility was designing all collateral for the Cacau Chocolate House brand.
